Let’s Explore the Sand Bar

Bilaran sand bar is located in Pagbilao Bay, the sand bar is beautiful as it is in this picture, our boatman say that this sand bar was so much longer, wider and lovelier before, sadly, people have exploited the white sand  to sell as decorative and building materials.  A lot has probably been quarried indeed.

Bilaran is still a nice place to go to. It has calm, clear waters all around it.  It offers several unobstructed views all around like Mount Banahaw  and Pagbilao Power Plant. It is  a nice side trip destination when going to  Kwebang Lampas . A 20-30 minutes boat ride from kwebang lampas, you must visit the sand bar during low tides, that’s around 8am to 10am,coz the sand bar is completely submerged during high tide. If you want to stay longer, make sure to bring water to keep you hydrated, umbrella and wear sunblock for you skin protection . Enjoy and let’s keep our nature clean and lovely as it is for the next generation.
